How to USE Skype in your Slackware 64 ( 13 & 13.1 )

Post  Nachzeher on Sun Aug 08, 2010 5:22 am

Easy.. .

When I install de 32libs (for multilib system) I have some troubles.

Skype, is very important for me.. I need to "skyping" with my girlfriend.. I love you

So, I have installed a Virtual Machine within Windows XP and.. here.. I've installed Skype lol!

It's so crazy.. but really rocks!

1- Download the VirtualBox for 64bits Distros: http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads
URL:

2- In the name.. of the ROOT:

3- Install Windows ( or if you want.. . mac Twisted Evil )

4- Configure your Sound System for "Capture Device" (KMIX)

5- Download and Install Skype for windows.. Cool

Maybe, This is not the most orthodox way to use Skype in Linux..
But, it is very functional. It works very good.
This is 'cause skype is running over other S.O. (windows, for me)

I hope that this is useful for someone..

¡Saludos!
