My System

Post  Oncle Jean on Thu Aug 26, 2010 2:02 am

Pentium III, 733 MHz. A dinosaur... Smile

Slackware 13.0 with Xfce 4.6.2. Version 13.0 comes with Xfce 4.6.1 but I installed version 4.6.2 a few weeks ago.

Firefox 3.6.8, Thunderbird 3.1.2, Pan 0.133.
OpenOffice.org 3.2.

And BleachBit 0.7.4 which is a program to do some cleaning.

Xfce Task Manager lets me see the active programs and with it, I can easily stop any process.

Brasero Disc Burner is simple but very good.

ClamAV 0.96.2. I always build it from source. Other security tool: CHKrootkit 0.49.

A few games: Amoebax and Tubularix.

Education: Gpredict. Nice program that tracks hundreds of satellites, including the ISS.

These are the main programs that I use. You ?

Awesome!

Did you have problems with your graphic card driver?

no, not really. but there is a certain way you need to install it. I had this same video card workin on my previous setup and it worked fine. I was tryin to get dual lcds to work on the card though and couldn't get it completely configured.
