DVD Movie rip in Slackware using command line
First make sure you have libdvdcss and vobcopy installed.
1. Mount the DVD
2.type "vobcopy -m" into terminal,hit enter and let it do its thing
3.You should now have a directory named VIDEO_TS
4.type "cd VIDEO_TS" and hit enter
5.type "mkisofs -v -dvd-video -o ../movie_name.iso ." and hit enter
6.You should now have an iso file of the movie ready to burn with your fave burner...or
7."cd" and hit enter
8."growisofs -dvd-compat -Z /dev/dvd=movie_name.iso" and hit enter
9.All done.Hopefully you now have a copy of your DVD.
