gtwitter requires mono WTF

I just wanted to install a simple twitter client.I thought that gtk twitter would fit the bill.Nope.It wanted me to install over 400mb of mono.ಠ_ಠ.Sorry,I dont think so.Any suggestions for a light twitter client.

Looks nice but I should have said I don't have KDE stuff installed.I ended up going for qtwitter as I did have QT installed.
