Adobe Reader
Yesterday I downloaded and installed Adobe Reader 9. But to do what I want to do, I also need the FileOpen Plugin which I'm also trying to install.
First, I downloaded FileOpenInstaller.tar.gz from
http://plugin.fileopen.com/all.aspx
I uncompressed it and it contains four files:
- FileOpenInstaller
- FileOpen.AR8.api
- FileOpen.AR8.api
- commandline_installer.sh
I do ./commandline_installer.sh and here's what I get:
Any suggestions ?

Removing any old installation files...
mkdir: cannot create directory `/root/plug_ins': File exists
Trying to read Acrobat Reader version...
Path to executable : /usr/bin/acroread
Acrobat Reader version 9.4 found.
Incorrect Acrobat Reader version "9.4" found. Exiting installer.
Any suggestions ?
