CHKrootkit

Post  Oncle Jean on Sat Nov 07, 2009 4:08 pm

Hi all,

I'm on Slackware 13. Here's what the CHKrootkit scan indicates:

WARNING: Hard link count is wrong for `/proc' (saw only st_nlink=112 but we already saw 110 subdirectories): this may be a bug in your file system driver. Automatically turning on find's -noleaf option. Earlier results may have failed to include directories that should have been searched.

Any suggestions ?

Not long after my previous post, someone told me that the problem was the EXT4 file system I chose when I installed Slackware. But lately, I installed Slackware 13.0 on another computer and this time, with EXT3. I installed CHKrootkit too and we get the exact same warning ! Is it me ???
