1. Speex 1.2rc1 Package Added for Slackware 13.0

A package for the Speex voice audio compression codec has been added to the Slackware 13.0 repository:

2. Ugraded GTK+2 and GLib2 Packages for Slackware 13.0

I finally decided to build an upgraded GTK+2 package for Slackware 13.0 so that I could use some of these other projects.

3. Exaile and Rhythmbox Packages Added for Slackware 13.0

Each one imported my collection of Ogg Vorbis music in much less time than Amarok did under KDE4.
